“Could not load file or assembly GPConnNet.dll or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.”

The above error message can occur when attempting to deploy a KampData TaxEngine integration on a computer that has not had Microsoft Dynamics GP installed. The GPConnNet.dll is installed automatically when installing Microsoft Dynamics GP and is used for Dynamics Encrypted Passwords.

Here are a couple different options that you can use to resolve this issue.

• Install Microsoft Dynamics GP on the computer that has this error.
• Or download and install the SQL Passwords Only Edition of the KampData TaxEngine.
  • This version does not reference the GPConnNet.dll. Therefore you will need to log into this version as 'sa' or another user created in SQL (not in Dynamics).
