The first step in Zip Addressing and in Tax Schedule Selection is to validate the current address. This process checks the DZ Zip Address table to see if the currently entered city, state and country exist in this table for the currently entered ZIP code.

As of Build 72 the country field is ignored for purposes of Tax Schedule Selection unless the Restrict by Country option has been selected. However, the country field is checked and updated for purposes of Zip Addressing.
