The first step in Zip Addressing and in Tax Schedule Selection is to validate the current address. This process checks the DZ Zip Address table to see if the currently entered city, state and country exist in this table for the currently entered ZIP code.

As of Build 72 the country field is ignored for purposes of Tax Schedule Selection unless the DynamicZip option Restrict by Country has been selected. The country field is still checked and updated as part of Zip Addressing.
