As of Build 72 requiring the system password has been made optional. The Require System Password for select DynamicZip windows option can be turned on or off in the DynamicZip Setup window

Regardless of whether a system password is required or not, DynamicZip uses the Microsoft Dynamics GP role based security to restrict access.

With Require System Password enabled, the following windows require the Microsoft Dynamics GP system password unless you are logged in as “sa” or “DYNSA”:

• DZ Modify Detail Supplement window
• DZ Modify Item Category Overrides window
• DZ Modify Item Supplement window
• DZ Modify Tax Details window
• DZ Modify Tax Schedules window
• DZ Registration window
• DZ Remove Tax Details window
• DZ Remove Tax Schedules window
• DZ Set Posting Accounts window
• DZ System Setup window
• DZ Table Maintenance window
• DZ Table Status window
• DZ Trigger Setup window

NOTE: No prompt for the system password will appear unless a system password has been specified in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
