 Microsoft Dynamics GP uses [[taxengine:faq:dynamics_encrypted_passwords|encrypted passwords]] to help keep the accounting data safe. When Microsoft Dynamics GP is not installed on the [[taxengine:install:web_server|Web Server]], then the code required to work with these passwords will not be available on the Web Server. For this reason we make available a SQL Passwords Only Edition of the KampData TaxEngine. This edition uses the SQL passwords as created and maintained directly on the SQL Server.
