====== TE Transaction Source Modules window ======
This window is used to identify your various sales and purchase modules. Generally speaking, you should create a module for each source application that will be calling the KampData TaxEngine 

A single module cannot contain more than one document with any particular combination of document number and document type as configured in the [[taxengine:windows:Document Type Setup window]].

**IMPORTANT: **Transaction source module setup must be completed before the KampData TaxEngine can be used. Please see [[taxengine:install:getting_started|Getting Started]] for more information.

**NOTE: **You can automate the process of creating the module setup record and the document type records for the Microsoft Dynamics GP SOP module by selecting Additional > KampData TaxEngine Module Setup from within the [[dynamics:windows:sales_transaction_entry_window|Sales Transaction Entry window]] in Dynamics or by selecting File > Create SOP from within the TE Transaction Source Modules window.

  * **File**
    * **Create SOP:** Automates the process of creating the module setup record and the document type records for the Microsoft Dynamics GP SOP module. This process runs automatically if you import documents using the Import Document window.
    * **Report:** Print a report.
    * **Exit:** Exits the KampData TaxEngine.
  * **Help**
    * **Contents:** Opens KampData TaxEngine Help (KDTaxEngine.chm).

Enter a transaction source module.**Transaction Type**

Sale or Purchase. Sale will use the sales tax rate and link to the customer table while Purchase will use the purchase tax rate and link to the vendor table. 
 
====Module Name====

Enter a name for the transaction source module.

==== Default Document Type ====

The default document type for the transaction source module.
 
==== Next Document Number ====

The next document number for the transaction source module.
