DZ Vendor Address Correction window

The DZ Vendor Address Correction window provides a way for you to automate the process of updating your vendor address records based on the DZ Zip Address table. This process assumes that the ZIP Code contained in the vendor address records is correct and will then update the city and state to match the spelling contained in the DZ Zip Address table.

This process starts by validating the city, state, and ZIP Code already contained in the vendor address record. If that combination of city, state, and ZIP Code exists in the DZ Zip Address table, the vendor address record will not be modified and a report will be generated to show which addresses were not corrected and why. Please see ZipAddressing Messages for more information.

Run the DZ Vendor Address Correction utility after making changes to the DZ Zip Address table or if you modify entries in the DZ Geocode Master Table.

• NOTE: If the vendor address record does not contain a ZIP Code, or if it contains a ZIP Code that does not exist in the DZ Zip Address table, then the Address Correction utility will not be able to update the vendor address record.
• NOTE: If the Auto Correct City option is off in the DynamicZip Setup windowin cases where there is more than one city sharing a ZIP Code, the Address Correction utility will not modify the vendor address record.

  • Select Enabled to print a report that includes only exceptions for states that have ZipAddressing enabled.
  • Select Changes to print a report that includes only the exceptions that DynamicZip can change.
