Starting with DynamicZip Build 71 for use with Microsoft Dynamics GP v.10 we have added integration to and compliance with the new role based security model. In this model, each user is assigned a role. Each role is assigned one or more tasks. Each task is assigned one or more operations. Each user has permissions to perform only those operations assigned to him or her via his or her role.

DynamicZip does not create its own tasks. DynamicZip assigns security for its operations to the applicable Microsoft Dynamics GP tasks. As a result, security setup for DynamicZip should be automatic in most cases. However, you can modify the resulting DynamicZip security as normal from within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

You can see which users have Permissions to which DynamicZip operations by printing the DZ Security Report.

NOTE:
As of Build 72 the security task operations for DynamicZip can be removed and recreated at their default settings via the DynamicZip menu on the DZ System Setup window. This can only be performed by sa or DYNSA.
