Why should I use DynamicZip's exempt tax schedules instead of my own?

Every nontaxable schedule created by DynamicZip contains at least one Zero Rate Tax Detail. This is necessary because of the way transaction history is stored by Microsoft Dynamics GP

When you post a transaction, the tax details used on that transaction are stored in the Microsoft Dynamics GP history tables. Information such as which state, county and city the transaction was taxed for is only trackable through the tax details stored with that transaction.

IMPORTANT: If you are using a tax schedule that does not have any tax details, then your transaction history will not contain the necessary information for tracking where the sale was made. The same is true if you are leaving the Tax Schedule ID field blank. The lack of tax details causes the DynamicZip Tax Reports to not be able to sort the transaction by city, county, state, tax jurisdiction or tax administrator.
