Microsoft Dynamics GP » Tools » Setup » Posting » Posting Accounts

Microsoft Dynamics GP provides a default posting account for sales tax liability. Taxes associated with any Tax Detail that does not have a specific posting account assigned to it will be posted to that default posting account.

To set the default posting account in Microsoft Dynamics GP:

1. Open the Posting Accounts Setup window.
2. Scroll down to Taxes and enter the default posting account of your choice.
3. Click OK.
