====== Could not load file or assembly GPConnNet.dll ======

**"Could not load file or assembly GPConnNet.dll or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."**

The above error message can occur when attempting to deploy a KampData TaxEngine integration on a computer that has not had [[dynamics:dynamics|Microsoft Dynamics GP]] installed. The GPConnNet.dll is installed automatically when installing Microsoft Dynamics GP and is used for [[taxengine:faq:Dynamics Encrypted Passwords]].

Here are a couple different options that you can use to resolve this issue.

  * Install Microsoft Dynamics GP on the computer that has this error.
  * Or [[kampdata:download_page|download]] and [[taxengine:faq:Install Faq|install]] the [[taxengine:install:sql_passwords_only_edition|SQL Passwords Only Edition]] of the KampData TaxEngine.
    * This version does not reference the GPConnNet.dll. Therefore you will need to log into this version as 'sa' or another user created in SQL (not in Dynamics).
