====== DynamicZip Build 73.1 ====== This DynamicZip build is compatible with [[dynamiczip:install:mods:microsoft_dynamics_gp11|Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010]]. Release date October 7, 2010. ===== Modifications ===== ==== Address Supplements ==== * Preservation of geocode in the IV Site and Customer Supplement tables: Prior to this update the geocode in the supplement table was automatically updated to the tax schedule's geocode whenever a new tax schedule was assigned to the IV Site or Customer Address. DynamicZip will now retain the supplement table's geocode if it is more precise and still valid for the address. * When [[dynamiczip:windows:Use USPS City Names]] was selected in the [[dynamiczip:windows:DynamicZip Setup window]] and the currently assigned tax schedule was no longer valid, DynamicZip was reverting to the default tax schedule for that ZIP code rather than using the geocode from the IV Site or Customer Supplement table to select a non-default tax schedule if appropriate. This has been corrected and now if the [[dynamiczip:tables:DZ Zip Address Table]] contains an address record for the relevant ZIP code/geocode combination, the geocode will be used to positively identify the city, county and state for tax schedule selection purposes. ==== Reporting ==== * Added the option to sort by Address ID on [[dynamiczip:reports:Document Centric]] sales tax reports. ==== Routines ==== * Assign Customer/Vendor Tax Schedules routine: If [[dynamiczip:setup:update_blank_zip_id_s_only|Update Blank and Zip Id's Only]] was selected and the customer or vendor had a non-ZIP schedule assigned, the routine would report that the proposed schedule was N/A. The implication and intention being that no change would be made. However if the routine had actually found a valid tax schedule for that address, the "found" flag returned by the process was erroneously triggering the update to assign the proposed schedule - in this case Tax Schedule ID "N/A". This problem has been corrected. ==== Transaction Entry ==== * When the customer is exempt in the [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Location]] and nontaxable items are added to SOP documents they now come in as as Base On Customer but with an exempt tax schedule. This results in exempt tax details being added to the document which assist in the accuracy of the [[dynamiczip:reports:DynamicZip Tax Reports]]. Prior to this update this occurred automatically only if [[dynamiczip:features:tbic:Tax By Item Category]] was enabled. * When the [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Location]] is the IV Site: * The tax schedule assigned to the IV Site is now accepted rather than running tax schedule assignment each time based on the IV Site's Tax Location. * If the customer is exempt in the Tax Location, the IV Site's [[dynamiczip:glossary:exempt_tax_schedule|exempt schedule]] (as displayed in the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Site Supplement window]] automatically replaces the IV Site's taxable schedule (as saved in the [[dynamics:windows:Site Maintenance window]]. Prior to this update this occurred automatically only if [[dynamiczip:features:tbic:Tax By Item Category]] was enabled in the [[dynamiczip:windows:DynamicZip Setup window]]. ---- [[dynamiczip:install:mods:release:build73:build73|Build 73]] \\ [[dynamiczip:install:mods:modifications|Modifications]]
