Permission to access this window is granted to the Customer Cards Task.

In this window you can specify the Base Taxable Status to be used for a particular customer. This will control Tax Schedule Selection for the customer.

You can also allow exemption overrides for a customer on a state-by-state basis by enabling the “Allow Override by State” option. Using the lookup to select the state and Allow Override by State you can control the Tax Schedule Selection for the customer in that state.

Additionally, you can expand the lines to enter a Tax Exemption Number and Expiration Date. Please see Tax Certificate FAQ for more information.
