Document Centric means that the collection of individual tax detail records associated with each transaction are handled as a single unit. This is intended to result in one line per document.
This grouping is particularly applicable when reporting taxes where the total tax collected on each transaction is included in a single field on the sales and use tax return.
NOTE: For this grouping to work in a meaningful way, each document must have one and only one Tax Location For this reason, we do not advise using multiple ship-to's in a single Sales Order Processing document. Likewise if a single document has multiple Shipping Types where some items are picked up and some are delivered, then the document will have multiple Tax Location.
