This DynamicZip build is compatible with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010

• Fixed a bug that was causing the Tax Schedule ID field to update incorrectly for nontaxable inventory items. This bug was only found to occur when a user clicked on or tabbed into the Tax Schedule ID field after entering a nontaxable item for a taxable customer in Sales Transaction Entry. Nontaxable Items come in as Base on customers with an Zip Code Exempt Schedule. The bug was changing the exempt tax schedule into a taxable tax schedule.
• Tax Schedule Selection - Restrict By Country setting was being ignored as far as swapping in a non-taxable schedule for Nontaxable Items. However it was not being ignored for the actual selection of the tax schedule. This resulted in a situation where adding a nontaxable item to a SOP document could result in the customer's tax schedule being replaced for that line item with the related exempt tax schedule. The problem was that if a base on customer item was subsequently added to the SOP document, the exempt schedule ID was rolled down to that item rather than the customer's taxable schedule ID. This occurred only if:
  • Restrict by Country Code was selected in the Tax Schedule Selection section of DynamicZip Setup window.
  • The customer's ship-to address has a country code that is not equal to the Country Default for U.S.A. in the DynamicZip Setup window.
  • The customer's ship-to address has a taxable tax schedule for which the related Zip Code Exempt Schedule exists.
  • An item set to nontaxable is added to an SOP document, and one or more items set to base on customer are added following the nontaxable item.
