The application of DynamicZip Naming Rules as setup and maintained in the DZ Naming Rules window¹⁾ has been enhanced to modify more than one word in the city or county name when appropriate. Prior to this it was only making one modification per name and the one made was the first one that occurred alphabetically.

For example:

For the Rate & Boundary Database name: SAINT JOHNSBURY CENTER in CALEDONIA county VT 05863:

• Without the naming rules the Tax Schedule Description would be “VT SAINT JOHNSBURY CENTER, CAL”.
• With the naming rules prior to this enhancement the Tax Schedule Description would be “VT SAINT JOHNSBURY CTR, CALEDO”.
• With the naming rules after this enhancement the Tax Schedule Description would be “VT ST JOHNSBURY CTR, CALEDONIA”.

This not only prevented part of the county name from showing, but the first word in the city name was not abbreviated to ST as would be expected.
