Permissions

Since Build 71 for Microsoft Dynamics GP v.10, DynamicZip has supported Role Based Security. When DynamicZip is installed and initialized, permissions to perform DynamicZip operations are automatically assigned to the appropriate Microsoft Dynamics GP task. For most installations, this should make granting of permissions virtually automatic.

DynamicZip Permissions can be easily reviewed using the DZ Security Report.

Permissions can be granted or revoked as desired by the Microsoft Dynamics GP system administrator.

Example

By default, LESSONUSER1 and LESSONUSER2 do not have permissions granted to perform Import Task. One way to deal with this situation is to create a new role using the Security Role Setup window and assigning the ADMIN_SYSTEM_012* Security Task ID to this new role. Then, using the User Security Setup window assign this new role to the user or users who will be performing the Rate & Boundary Import such as LESSONUSER1 and/or LESSONUSER2.
