Geocode
A geocode is a numeric representation of a geographic location.
In Build74.0 DynamicZip uses the FIPS codes available from the United States Board on Geographic Names as provided by Kamp-Data, Inc. Prior to this build, they are imported from the Rate & Boundary Database.
A geocode is a combination of FIPS codes in the following format:
- 1122233333
- 11 = The state FIPS code
- 222 = The county FIPS code
- 33333 = The city FIPS code.
