NOTE: As of Build 77 the use of the DynamicZip Log File has been discontinued. All references to this file have been removed. Use of the file could result in problems using the Dynamics GP Web Client. The improved DynamicZip process reports have rendered the logging process obsolete.

The DynamicZip Log File is an ASCII text file that records various DynamicZip events. By default this file is named DynZip.log and will be created in the DynamicZip installation folder. The file name and file path can be modified using the DynamicZip Setup window. The file name and path are stored in the Dex.ini as follows:

DZ_LogFile=:C:Program Files/Microsoft Dynamics/DynZip.log

Typically each workstation will have its own DynZip.log file specified.
