Drop and Recreate Tables

When you use the DZ Table Maintenance window to Drop & Recreate a DynamicZip table, the existing table and related stored procedures will all be deleted. A new copy of the tables and stored procedures will then be created. All records in the old table will be lost. The new table will contain no records.

If you are unable to use the DZ Table Maintenance window to Drop & Recreate a DynamicZip table, you can drop (delete) the table using the SQL Server Management Studio. When you delete the table in SQL Server Management Studio, you will need to delete the related stored procedures also. If any of the related stored procedures still exist from the deleted table, DynamicZip will not be able to recreate the table. After deleting the table and its related stored procedures, log back into Microsoft Dynamics GP as sa or DYNSA. Open the DZ Table Status window. The table may have been automatically recreated if so, it will appear in the scrolling window with a status of successful. If not select Create SQL Tables from the DynamicZip menu.
