Prepare to Import Rates and Boundaries

  1. Retrieve the latest issue of the Rate & Boundary Database from CCH if you are subscribing to their ZIPsales Database or from Zip2Tax if you are using the Zip2Tax rate and boundary files. Thomson Reuters will email the Complete+ Database each month.
  2. If you are using DynamicZip build 74 or later, you also need to download the KampDatabase Files from the KampData website. You will need to create an account if you don't already have one. After downloading and extracting, these files need to be merged into the same folder that contains the latest issue of the ZIPsales Database or the Zip2Tax rate and boundary files.
  3. Once you have the latest copy of the database stored on your local network you can begin importing the data into Microsoft Dynamics GP & DynamicZip Please see Rate & Boundary Import Checklist.
