Microsoft Dynamics GP uses encrypted passwords to help keep the accounting data safe. When Microsoft Dynamics GP is not installed on the Web Server, then the code required to work with these passwords will not be available on the Web Server. For this reason we make available the Remote Edition of the KampData TaxEngine. This edition uses the SQL passwords as created and maintained directly on the SQL Server.
This edition was previously called the SQL Passwords Only Edition. However this edition now also works with Integrated Security and therefore that name is no longer appropriate.
