Tax Schedule Description

The tax schedule description is a field that provides the State, County, and City information for a given Tax Schedule.

• The two letter state code followed by a space.

• Statewide Tax Schedule
  • The state name.
• Countywide Tax Schedule
  • The county name followed by “co”.
• City Tax Schedule
  • The city name followed by a comma and a space.
  • The county name.

Note: The contents of positions 4-30 are subject to truncation if the city name and county name exceed the maximum length of Microsoft Dynamics GP tax schedule Description field (30 characters).

• An “X” if the description is for an Exempt Tax Schedule
