This optimization is normally the default and normally optional.
Making it optional provides us with an excellent tool for our software quality assurance as we can run it both ways and verify that the results match.
Also, should an error be encountered by one of our users, it provides an alternate way to generate the report or perform the process while we create a service pack to correct the problem.
