====== FIPS Code ======
FIPS stands for Federal Information Processing Standards. For our purposes it is simply a code used to identify a specific place regardless of how the place's name may be spelled or abbreviated. 

DynamicZip relies on FIPS codes to identify tax locations and to manage Zip Addresses. The FIPS codes are imported from the [[dynamiczip:glossary:fips_code_file|KampData FipsCodes.txt file]].
