====== Document Tax Details ====== [[dynamiczip:reports:DynamicZip Tax Reports]] rely heavily on the [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Detail]] records attached to each document in [[dynamics:dynamics|Microsoft Dynamics GP]] transaction history. These details identify the taxes that comprise the tax amount on the face of the document. Documents with no tax details attached pose a reporting challenge. This is the primary reason for using [[dynamiczip:glossary:Exempt Tax Detail]]. ===== No Tax Details Found ===== Documents that have not been assigned a [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Schedule]] as well as documents that contain only charges that have a [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Option]] of Nontaxable will not automatically have any tax details attached. To facilitate the reporting of documents with no tax details attached, DynamicZip uses the following method: * Refer to the tax details associated with the document's tax schedule. In some cases a tax schedule will become obsolete and be removed by the [[dynamiczip:features:import:rate_and_boundary_import|Rate & Boundary Import]] process in which case, the above method will fail. When this happens, DynamicZip will then use the following method: * Refer to the tax details associated with the document's [[dynamiczip:glossary:Tax Location]] tax schedule. If the Tax Location is the ship-to address, its tax schedule will be referred to only if the city, state and zip on the address card match what is saved on the document. ---- [[dynamiczip:features:white_papers:White Papers]]
