====== Why isn't ZipAddressing working? ======

====Why doesn't ZipAddressing update the city and state when I modify the ZIP Code?====

  - Check the [[dynamiczip:windows:About DynamicZip window]]  or the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Registration window]] to verify that [[dynamiczip:features:Zip Addressing|ZipAddressing]] is enabled for your DynamicZip installation.
  - Check to see if the window you are working in is one listed in [[dynamiczip:integration_points:Integration Points]] as one in which ZipAddressing has been programmed to function.
  - Check the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ System Setup window]] to verify that DynamicZip is enabled for the current company.
  - Check the [[dynamiczip:windows:DynamicZip Setup window]] to verify that [[dynamiczip:features:Zip Addressing|ZipAddressing]] is enabled for the current company.
  - Check the DynamicZip Setup window to verify that the current [[dynamiczip:glossary:Zip Code Format]] is enabled.
  - Check the DynamicZip Setup window to verify that [[dynamiczip:windows:Restrict By Country]] is not selected or that the current country is listed either in [[dynamiczip:features:addressing:Country Default]] for U.S.A. or for Canada.    
    * The "country" in question here is the value in the Microsoft Dynamics GP Country Code field on the window where ZipAddressing does not seem to be working properly. (Prior to build 72 it was the Country field, not the Country Code field.)
  - Check the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ State Setup window]] to verify that [[dynamiczip:features:Zip Addressing|ZipAddressing]] is enabled for the state. ZipAddressing is enabled on a state by state basis in the DZ State Setup window. If the state does not exist or if [[dynamiczip:windows:Enable Zip Addressing|Enable ZipAddressing]] is not selected for the state in this window, then ZipAddressing will not run.    
    * The "state" in question here is the value in the Microsoft Dynamics GP State field on the window where ZipAddressing does not seem to be working properly. 
  - Check the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Zip Address Setup window]] to verify that the current ZIP Code exists.
