====== How do I update a single state or group of states? ====== DynamicZip has a function called [[dynamiczip:glossary:Group ID]] to allow for a single state or group of states to be linked together for things like the [[dynamiczip:features:import:rate_and_boundary_import|Rate & Boundary Import]], [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Assign Customer Tax Schedules window|Assign Tax Schedules]] and [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Customer Address Correction window|Address Correction]] routines. From the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Rate and Boundary Import window]], [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Assign Customer Tax Schedules window]] or the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ Customer Address Correction window]]. - Clear the Update all states check box. - Enter or lookup a Group ID if one exists, or you can add a new Group ID by typing a new Group ID name into the Group ID field. When you tab off the field you will have the opportunity to add the new Group ID. * As of Build 74, if you enter a valid 2 letter state code as the Group ID, DynamicZip will automatically add a "group" containing only that state. In that case, the next two steps can be skipped. - Select Add, and the [[dynamiczip:windows:DZ State Group Setup window]] will open allowing you to add as many states as desired to the Group ID. - Close the DZ State Group Setup window when finished. - The single state (or group of states) should now be displayed in the scrolling window. ---- [[dynamiczip:faq:Frequently Asked Questions|FAQ]] \\ [[dynamiczip:faq:rate_and_boundary_import_checklist|Rate and Boundary Import Checklist]]
